I first wanted to say how incredibly thankful I am for such a wonderful class. I truly am so blessed to have such an incredibly sweet and caring group of children and collegues. Friday morning when I walked into the classroom, my mouth dropped to the floor in excitement! Mrs. Letts and Mrs. Mekler transformed the classroom for my birthday and even gave me a princess tiara to wear for the day! I felt so special :)
What made me feel even more special was the plethora of homemade cards, birthday wishes and hugs your little ones gave to me during their "Fun Friday" time. I was incredibly humbled to see the children busily working on birthday goodies for me and the smiles on their faces when they presented them to me! How adorable! They really helped to make my birthday extra special and one I will certainly never forget!
I also introduced time. The children watched an awesome robot video that explained how to tell time to the hour and they even got to make their own homemade clocks! They took them home so they could practice some more! We also discussed how long an hour is and some activities that take an hour to do. We also made a list of all the activities we do in school during each hour of our day. Your little ones are super busy!
