Although we had a short week, it was packed with a lot of fun!
This week I introduced the question mark to the children. I showed the students how to write a question mark and explained that the period is used when we tell something and the question mark is used when we ask something. We practiced reading sentences together and decided if they should end with a question mark or a period.
The children also rotated through the following Native American Stations:
1. Fishing Station: the children used magnetic fishing rods to "catch" fish.
2. Building Station: the children used lincoln logs to create villages, huts, and buildings like the Pilgrims and Native Americans.
3. Headband Station: the children colored, cut and glued headband craft.
If you are looking for enrichment activities over the break, I’ve included some favorite websites at the bottom of this blog; and there is of course RAZ-KIDS!!
Wishing you all a peaceful and relaxing Thanksgiving with good food, family and friends!
Many Blessings,
Miss Visicaro
