I am so proud of my classes for always working so hard and with lots of smiles and giggles. As we discussed what we are thankful for this week, I am especially thankful for the sweetest, most hard-working group of children. It is a blessing working with you and your children this year and I love coming to school every day to see their smiling faces!
It was SUCH a pleasure to meet with each of you this week to discuss your child’s progress. Thank you for taking time out of your day to meet with me!
Although we had a short week, it was packed with a lot of fun!
In Fundations, the children were introduced to 3 new letters: l-lamp-/l/, h-hat-/h/, and k-kite-/k/. This week, we focused on the final sound in words. Please practice identifying ending sounds in words with your child :)
The students also heard another Echo the Owl story titled "Baby Echo Flies." They really enjoyed it! Check it out below!

We also read lines from the story and the children found the corresponding picture to place in the pocket chart.
1. Look at the picture
2. Get your mouth ready to make the first sound
If you are looking for enrichment activities over the break, I’ve included some favorite websites at the bottom of this blog.
Wishing you all a peaceful and relaxing Thanksgiving with good food, family and friends!
Many Blessings,
Mrs. Nork
